Holiday Celebrations Filled with Joy and Meaning

One of the greatest benefits of a Schechter education is that the school year beats to the rhythm of the Jewish calendar. From Rosh Hashanah to Yom Haatzmaut, and everything in between, children, faculty and staff gather together to experience the richness of Jewish life. Students learn the importance, rituals, and meaning of Jewish holidays and then experience first-hand the joy of celebrating with their school community.

Throughout the year, our Parent Organization volunteers enrich the Shabbat and holiday experience for our students and community by serving at special Shabbat lunches on Friday afternoons, preparing and serving holiday treats, organizing family holiday celebrations, decorating the school sukkah, coordinating mishloach maot, helping out with Passover sedarim, and much more.
At Schechter I found a passion for learning and teachers who helped me grow. I am grateful for the time I have spent at Schechter and know it helped form the person I am today.
